This kit assesses ligand (e.g. GDF-11) induced dimerization of TGFBR1/ACVR2B receptors. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses ACVR2B target protein fused to PK alongside TGFBR1 target protein fused to EA. Upon ligand-induced dimerization of TGFBR1/ACVR2B, detectable EFC signal is produced. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. This kit assesses RTK activation via detection of activated c-Ret and GFRα1 dimerization-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged c-Ret and an EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. It also overexpresses an untagged coreceptor, GFRα1 Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, SH2-EA recruitment leads to production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Cayman’s L-Lactate Assay provides both a fluorescence and an absorbance-based method for detecting L-lactate in biological samples such as serum, plasma, blood, urine, and saliva. It can also be utilized to determine intracellular and extracellular lactate concentrations in cell culture samples. In the assay, LDH catalyzes the oxidation of lactate to pyruvate, along with the concomitant reduction of NAD+ to NADH. NADH reacts with the substrate to yield a final product that can be measured fluorometrically with an excitation wavelength of 530-540 nm and an emission wavelength of 585-595 nm, or colorimetrically at 535 nm.
